Creating a Draft PO#

Tap New Purchase Order and pick a vendor. That’s all Fillet needs to get started.

Your business address must be on file before you can create a purchase order — Fillet uses it as the default delivery address.

Line Items#

A line item is one thing you’re ordering: an ingredient, a quantity, a unit, and a price.

At the Draft stage:

  • You can have as many or as few line items as you like, including none.
  • Ingredient, quantity, unit, and price are all optional while you’re drafting.
  • You can only add ingredients that already have a price on file for this vendor.
  • The vendor cannot be changed once the order is created. If you picked the wrong one, delete the draft and start over.

Notes#

Free text, optional. You can add notes while the order is a Draft. Once it moves to Pending, the notes lock.
